People in the EPIC Lab

Bing Qiu is a first-year PhD student in the Computer Science Department at the University of Arizona and a research associate in the EPIC lab at the University of Arizona. Her research interests mainly include Business Process Reengineering, Web Services Technology and Applications Integration, and network security. Currently, she is working on the project "Development of a Methodology for Automating 4GL Program Transformation of Enterprise Information Systems via Service-Oriented Architectures". The goal of this project is to automate SAP applications’ transformation into service-oriented architecture framework as reusable process centric services. Bing’s work in this project is comprised of two aspects. The first one is about the analysis of enterprise information systems using reverse engineering approaches, and the second one is about the automation of the reverse engineering analysis processes.
